A wooden stall for your horse

We offer a range of horse boxes and shelters. We design these shelters with care in Belgium, offering "standard” models with all the features listed below.

Alternatively, you can of course opt for a tailor-made, customised shelter. ‎In this case, we will contact you to discuss which type of shelter is best suited to your project and your horses' needs.

Why should you choose our shelters?

Our boxes are sturdy, robust and durable

Our wooden shelters are of the highest quality and offer excellent stability. Once planning is complete, we cut all the timber on our own CNC machine, which allows for very precise cutting to the millimetre. This means that the timbers fit together perfectly during assembly, guaranteeing the stability of the structure.

What's more, all our wood is autoclave impregnated to maximise its durability.

Like our horse fencing, our shelters blend harmoniously into the surrounding landscape.

Easy care, safety and well-being for your horse

Weatherproof and easy to maintain, our outdoor boxes provide a spacious, well-ventilated area for your horses to rest and relax when out in the paddock.

Durafence shelters are of the highest quality and protect your animals from the elements, whether rain, wind or sun.

We can offer you the right solution, from a single horse box to a group shelter.

Our "standard" shelters

These come in a variety of sizes and styles, with pent or gable roofs, to meet the specific needs of every horse and owner.

Each model has its own unique features, but all share a common approach that highlights the following qualities: comfort, durability and aesthetics. This shared foundation is underpinned by the following points.

Structure

Made from high quality materials (KVH solid structural timber and Douglas fir), the structural elements are impregnated with brown copper salt for optimum protection.

Walls

The walls provide an elegant finish. The type of cladding varies depending on the model, but the boards are always treated with a brown salt impregnation.

Metal fittings

To make installation as easy as possible, we supply all the necessary hardware, with the exception of foundation anchors.

Features

KVH

KVH (Konstruktionsvollholz - structural solid timber) spruce is dried to 15% moisture content, which makes it highly resistant to warping. It is finger-jointed and planed on all four sides for a better appearance.

Douglas fir

Freshly sawn Douglas fir, planed on all four sides, offers superior resistance to humidity, making it the ideal choice for a surface exposed to the elements.

Tongue and groove cladding

The double interlocking design makes this cladding highly resistant to impact from animals.

Roof

Sheet metal measuring 0.6 mm in thickness with an anti-condensation film to protect against water running onto the animals. Charcoal grey finish.

Post base

Galvanised steel post foot for high weather resistance. It is 16 cm high and can be adjusted to provide a perfect fit with the foundations.

Door

Our box doors consist of a metal frame with a Douglas fir insert at the bottom and a barred window at the top. The window opens independently of the door, and the bars provide protection against any damage that animals may cause.
